This beautiful park like setting on the back of this property is restricted from use throughout the year due to poor drainage. The area is the lowest point which is where all of the water drains and lays through out the year when ever there is a heavy rainfall. Initially the Owners put in a small stream bed to take the excess water away from the back of the property, which also added visual appeal to the property. However, the rest of the property is still underwater after a heavy rain. So the plan is to create two drainage ditches with pvc underground to drain to the stream bed.
So the plan is to dig two ditches 8 inches wide x 8 inches deep from the low area to the stream bed. Then place 4 inch pvc tubing in the ditch to carry the water away. Digging the ditch 8 inches deep will allow 3 to 4 inches of top soil to have healthy grass growing over it. Within a couple of months you will not even know it is there.
